1. All
exhibits must be original in concept and design.
2. Works submitted
should not predate 2006
3. All exhibits must be clearly labelled
with the title, name and address of the exhibitor. Work may be for
sale. Prices should include 20% commission to be paid to Alcove
Art Shop which will handle sales.
4. All works, where applicable, must
be properly mounted and ready for hanging or display. Clear instructions
for hanging or any special requirements for display should be given
if required.
5. Papermakers of Victoria may choose
to make a photographic record of the exhibition. These photographs
may be used for publicity purposes.
6. The Exhibition Committee does not
accept any responsibility or liability for any damage or loss or
theft of any exhibit arising from any cause including negligence.
Accordingly exhibitors are strongly advised to undertake their own
insurance.
7. Entry forms must be received by
20 June 2008.
8. Entry forms must be sent to: Papermakers
of Victoria Inc.C/o Dorothy Simpson, 41 Glentower Drive, Glen Waverley,
3150.
9. Any posted
or couriered entries must arrive at Dorothy Simpson by 11 July 2008.
If work is mailed or couriered please enclose a stamped, self addressed
envelope or prepaid courier slip for return of work.
10. Exhibits must be delivered to:
Box Hill Community Arts Centre, 470 Station Street, Box Hill on
Friday, 18 July between 2 pm and 4pm or between 10am and 12 noon
on Saturday 19 July 2008.
11. Please send
with your work a profile page preferably on handmade paper for an
exhibition folder.
12. Exhibits must be collected on Saturday
2 August, between 3 & 4 pm.
13. Prepaid mail or couriered work
will be returned after the exhibition closes.
14. The Exhibition Committee reserves
the right to consider, but not necessarily exhibit, all works submitted.
No correspondence will be entered into.
15. There is
no limit on size of works, 2D or 3D works are acceptable. Collaborative
works are acceptable.
16. Each participant or group can enter
up to three pieces and a form should be submitted for each piece,
please copy the form for each exhibit and keep a copy for your records.
17. Small works may be exhibited in
display cabinets.
18. All participants must be members
of Papermakers of Victoria Inc.
