Formed in January 1989 by people, whose common bond was a love and understanding of paper
as a medium in its own right. The purpose of the group is to provide mutual support for hand papermakers
through the exchange of ideas and information, discussion and demonstrations
To promote the craft to a wider audience by a regular program of exhibitions and workshops,
and to encourage a greater appreciation of the complex processes involved in the
production of quality handmade papers, from a diversity of fibres

followed by hands on activity

Sample Making for Occasional Publication

We will have a pleasant afternoon helping Dineke
with The Occasional Publication samples
We will make the Leather Paper.
Please bring newspaper if you have some
and a shoe cleaning brush
Jo Peake will supply the other materials

Helping Hands: Antje Bauer and Anne Marie Power.

If you have things for the trading table please bring them
but remember to take them home if they do not sell.
